The scope of different kinds of midwives practices (these vary state-by-state). Many
people do not know the difference in education and approach between different kinds of
midwives such as Certified Professional Midwives, Nurse Midwives, Licensed Midwives,
etc..
I can give suggestions regarding resources such as books and websites that someone
could research to find answers to specific pregnancy or natural-birth related questions.
I can answer general questions about healthy pregnancy, nutrition, supplements, home-
birth, the labor process, and breast-feeding. I can not answer specific questions for
individuals about their pregnancy or birth.
I can not give specific health-related questions for someone unless they are already my
client.

Question I'm trying to assist a friend who desperatly wants a homebirth. She lives in Smackover and can't seem to find anyone to assist her with an at home delivery.
I'm all the way in Virginia so I don't personally know anyone to send her to. I also have no idea how far Smackover is from you so please bare with me lol.
If not, do you know of any midwives in that area (or who are willing to travel to that area)?
