I see your question is about 16 months old and I am not sure if you got an answer.  I personally cannot answer your question but the museum he spoke of is the National Museum of Health and Medicine in Silver Spring, MD ( a Wash DC suburb). Previously the museum was on the Walter Reed campus but moved when the hospital moved.  The museum has its own web site.  Although it is called the National Museum it evolved from the Army Medical Museum.
