I should have added that the ships in question were hospital ships and my father, who was a medic, received medals for Europe, North Africa and the Middle East. He told me that he had been stationed in port in Bremerhaven, Germany and Naples, Italy. I assume this additional information does not help. Thanks anyway. Tom Ford|

Also, unit history of US Army QM, Signal, MP, Ordnance, Medical, Transportation & Engineer units that served during WW 2. The more obscure units are my specialty.
