Question
StickPin
StickPin
I believe the stick pin in the image provided is from WWII US Army, Can you please verify this type of pin

Answer
Dear Geri,
After World War II had ended, many veterans of the U.S. military had stick pins specifically made at their request for a wife or for wear on the veteran's lapel. This looks like a horseshoe (denoting luck) and the small version of the ruptured duck atop it. The ruptured duck was the discharge pin given to all honorably discharged veterans of World War II.
