Question I am interested in the history of the U.S. Air Force 20th Special Operations Squardon after 1969. I flew 163 combat mission (1966-69) out of Urdon, Thialand with this elite unit. Although our mission was covert, I see no mention of our existence in any literature. Other Special Opers are celebrated on the History Channel and in other literary records. We contributed also; often times under the most extreme encounters imageable.
If you have any information about my unit, it would help me put closure to a long nightmare.
Thank you,
Sgt. Louie Alexander, U.S. Air Force
Door Gummer/20th Special Operations Squardon
