Question
I recently bought an '84 M1008. It runs fine, but it doesn't pass inspection in Utah. I've got turn signals not working, no brake warning light on the dash, only one speed on the wipers with no spray, uneven brake pressure in the rear and a worn tie rod end. Is there a good repair manual for these vehicles? Are these just electrical and mechanical problems or will I have to modify the vehicle to pass inspection.

Answer
They are just standard Chevy truck problems, nothing military specific.
Just a regular 84 Chiltons book should help a lot.
It won't show the blackout light/service drive light toggle switches, but other than that, it is all stock 12 volt Chevy.

How do you know about the brake pressure being unequal?
If it pulls to one side, that could be oil on the shoes on one side.
