Question
Hello.I am doing my full time job with a reputed organisation. Over here I have my 8 hrs night shifts.I had good score in GATE and on the basis of that I could get admission in to an NIT which is in the same town.I want to persue M-tech with full timejob in my hand for safety. I have no problem with the timings of both. Now what I want to know is do I elligible to persue full time M-Tech with full time job? If yes,can you please tell me what sort of things I need to be cleared from my employer and also from me??thank you.

Answer
Hi Rabindranath,

The Institute may have attendance requirements and will be more than happy to let you in if you have cleared all entrance related formalities and are ready to attend classes regularly. If the same requires a student to be in a hostel, then it can be a problem for you. The NIT can reject an application on any basis even if the required grades are there, normally they do not allow full time employment with the course being pursued.

Regards,

Vani
