Experience
The Mitsubishi Eclipse I work on has over 167,000 miles on it. If it could go wrong it has. I have learned a lot from working on the car, reading books and asking people who work on other cars.

Organizations
Church, I am a Christian.

Education/Credentials
Have some college course on engines, working on them and keeping them repaired. Read a lot of books and try to stay ahead of things.

Subject: location of fuel injection relay

Question
I have an 89 mirage the fuel pump works but we aren't getting any fuel, we were told it was the fuel injection relay and we don't know where to locate it help please.

Answer
Trica: All relays and larger fuses are in those black boxes under the hood with the engine. When you open the hood of the car, standing looking at the engine. There should be one black box over on the driver's side of the car, and then two on the other side. On the tops of these boxes should tell what is in each box. But if the tops are old and the painting as come off. You could go out buy yourself a repair manual for your car, they cost around $20.00 and well worth the money, most parts stores sell them. Try to get an Haynes too, as they have less engines in them. The repair manual would explain what was in each one of those boxes as to fuses and replays. I hope this helps and God bless: Linda
