where can i find books on a 1993 1.5 liter motor and how hard is it to change the throttle cable

You can check your local auto parts stores for service manuals. And there are sites on the internet that can probably offer some good references. Depending on the car you have and your knowledge of the mechanic systems, then you should have too much difficulties in replacing your throttle cable. Though if your car is equipped with cruise control, that may offer more of a challenge, as the adjustments may need to be more finely tuned.
