Question
2002 Mits Eclipse Spyder, dashboard lights are out and have had it to a repair shop and they are unable to find why they are out.  Where or what should he look for to fix this problem.  All wires have been traced back and it is not a fuse.

Answer
Kathy,
Sometimes when a brake light bulb or turn signal light bulb goes out, the dash lights do not illuminate to warn you to check your bulbs.  You can also check the dash light dimmer switch.  If the switch is off or damaged, the dash lights will not come on.  Also, if you've replace your radio recently, that can also effect the dash light circuit.
Good luck!

Expertise

I have been working with (and driving) a first generation Mitsubishi Eclipse for several years. Anything that could go wrong with an Eclipse has probably happened on mine. Fortunately, I have gained a lot of knowledge from experience in repairing these problems myself.

Experience

Identifying and repairing problems in mechanical and electrical areas. Plus, I have learned many ways to enhance performance to the incredible engine Mitsubishi put in their early model Turbos.
