AboutAnthony Falcone Expertise I have been working with (and driving) a first generation Mitsubishi Eclipse for several years. Anything that could go wrong with an Eclipse has probably happened on mine. Fortunately, I have gained a lot of knowledge from experience in repairing these problems myself.
Experience Identifying and repairing problems in mechanical and electrical areas. Plus, I have learned many ways to enhance performance to the incredible engine Mitsubishi put in their early model Turbos.

Question i'm trying to replace the headlight in my 01 galant 2.2 auto is there some kind of trick to getting the wiring harness out?
Answer Earl,
Your headlight lamp may have a locking collar that you'll need to turn in order to free the harness and bulb. Your owners manual may even show the procedure for replacing your bulb. But if you're unable to do it yourself, you may be able to go a major auto parts store (AutoZone, Advanced Auto Parts, PepBoys, etc) and if you buy a bulb from them, many times they will help you replace it for free.
Good luck!
