Question
Hello:
I am interested in purchasing a model aircraft kit made by PM Models. Is this a good plastic model making company, that is, does it make good models?

Ken,
The PM Models are a mixed batch, with the Ta-183 being fairly decent, while many of the others are mediocre. The F-86 is the old Hasegawa kit and is not too good. The F-100C is another ancient kit and I would just wait for the Trumpeter if interested in the Hun. However the Seafury is a very good kit.

I have built models for the better part of thirty five years, have taken photographs of U.S. military aircraft and ships for about twenty five years and am currently scratch building a 1/72 nd scale model of the USS Petrof Bay (CVE-80).
