Monitor Problems - Flashing Screen

Question
On powering up my LG Flatron L1960TR starts to flash very fast for few mins then slower for few mins then clears and is ok.

Answer
Sound like it is having trouble detecting a video connection. Try buying some canned air from a local office supply store and use it to blow out all the vents of the monitor.
Then check to make sure the video card is inserted into its slot inside the computer (this is only if you don't have onboard video).
If the problem persists you may want to tyry replacing the video cable.
