Question I have a Mag Innovision LT773s. When I turn it on, it only stays on for about 1 or 2 seconds then it shuts off. The monitor light is on, not flashing, or anything. I checked to see if the monitor was set on too high Hz, but it was not. I tried to use the monitor on multiple computers, same problem. I read on another site that it could be that the capacitors is bad, so I opened it up and all the capacitors seemed to be good. Is it possible that it could be the capacitors, the inverter board, or maybe the led?
Answer The backlight and the power inverter board can actually be replaced with the components from a cold cathode light kit for a computer. It works well and is not very complicated. Cost is about $15 - $25
There is a nice write up on this here. http://backlightfix.com/
