Question
What record was the original version of 'The Girl That I Knew Somewhere' on?

or

Was it only released as the b-side to 'A Little Bit Me'?

I have a re-issue CD of Headquarters where it is only a bonus track, and Mike is singing it.

If it was originally on Headquarters, do you know any other instances where they took off original songs?

Answer
The Girl I Knew Somewhere wasn't even the original B side of A Little Bit Me. The original B side was She Hangs Out and was released without consent by Don Kirshner. This was the beginning of the end. Kirshner was forced to withdraw the single and it was re-released with The Girl I Knew Somewhere as the B side. Donnie was subsequently fired.
