In 1982 i believe a rookie Pitcher started for the Expos by the name of Greg Valentini, is this correct?

Hi Dwayne. Thanks for your question about Greg Valentini pitching for the Expos. I did a check at http://www.baseball-reference.com , which has the stats of all players ever to appear in the major leagues, and I couldn't find a trace of anyone named Greg Valentini - you may want to go make sure you've got the spelling of the name correct, and go to the site yourself. I don't remember anyone by that name (or anything similar) ever pitching in the majors for the Expos, and I did a quick check of the Expos rosters from 1980-85 and didn't see his name come up.

I can't comment on whether or not Valentini was ever in the expos system as a minor leaguer (I didn't follow the Expos minor leagues much back in the early 80s), but he never pitched for the major league team. I hope that helps.
