Expert: *Big Owe* - 3/30/2001

Im in a ritissere league and I have been devastated with injuries to my pitching staff. I respect the talent of the expos starting pitchers and i am looking at picking up Britt Reames or Tony Armas. Is Britt Reames as good as his stats this spring?

Hi,

From everything I have heard he is as good as his stats. He's young, but he has post-season experience. In fact, he was outstanding down the stretch and in the playoffs with the Cards last season. Armas has shown flashes, but has yet to become entirely consistent. I would lean towards Reames.
