Question
When did the montreal expos play there first game also do you know when toronto did?

Answer
Hi Steve,

The Expos played their first game ever on April 8th, 1969 at Shea Stadium against the Mets. They won that game 11-10 as pitcher Dan McGinn became the first Expo player to hit a home run. Don Shaw got the win in relief. The first batter was Maury Wills, the starting pitcher was Jim "Mudcat" Grant, Wills also had the first hit and first run scored. Bob Bailey had the first RBI and Carroll Sembera the first save.

Unfortunately, I do not have exact details of the first Blue Jays game, although I can tell you it came in early April of 1976

Hope this helps

Seb
