Question What's going on with Labatt Park? It was on the news for a bit couple years ago then it died off.

The Labatt Park project was shelved by Jeffrey Loria in 2001. He sent back all the money that had been collected in seat and box sales up until that point, cancelled the naming rights deal with Labatt and gave up an option that the club held on the land it was to be built on. That was followed up by Selig taking over the Expos and handing Loria the Marlins. As things stand now, the whole project is dead and the franchises' future in Montreal is hanging by a thread. The land where the park was supposed to be built has since been bought, and condos are being built there right now.
