Montreal Expos/Minor league player update

Question
I was watching a rerun og Unsolved Mysteries and it featured a story on a minor league player for the Montreal Expos.

His name is Tony Marabella. The story was about Mr. Marabella`s recovery of amnesia.

Although I am a Red Sox fan, I am very interested in knowing if Mr. Marabella was able to make it to the majors with the Expos or any other team.

Thank you for your help.

Answer
Hi Rick,

Nice coincidence, I'm headed to Boston on July 16th to see my Expos play the Sox. I had to go to Fenway once in my life :-) As for Marabella, he's a kid from Montreal who had a lot of success in junior leagues here in Quebec and was signed by the Expos in the days where Canadian players didn't have to be drafted to be signed. Marabella played in West Palm Beach, Sumter (A ball, where I saw him play a few times while I was living in Charlotte), and Harrisburg for a brief stint. I met him about 7 years ago on the Expos caravan, and he told me about his amnesia. Unfortunately, Tony never made it past AA ball and was released by the Expos a few years back. I do not know whether he tagged on with another team though, but I would doubt it. If you find out more please let me know

Hope this helps
