Two of my students are debating how the team got thier name.  Could you provide info.  Thank you

Hi there teacher :-)

OK, the Expos got their name from the 1967 World's Fair which was held in Montreal. It was appropriately called Expo '67, and it was so popular that when they created a survey to see what the new Montreal baseball team should be called, 79% of the responders said "Expos", hence the name :-)
