I wish there was something to report regarding the ballpark, but there isn't. The issue has been put on the back burner -- a big mistake in my opinion. It is very difficult to estimate the real intentions of the new owner, Jeffrey Loria. Some believe he wants to skip town, but is being forced by MLB to stay until the new CBA is settled. Other believe that he is giving it an honest effort. One thing is clear however, and that is that he has invested in the product, by keeping the team together.
As for the old Expo cap, I don't know where you can get one, but you might ask around at the Expo newsgroup or at the mamoth Expo message board at fanhome.com. Someone there might know where you could find one.
