Question I read a few questions archives where you and another person were talking about the cap emblem. You know, the "Jb" thing. I have been asked the same question too, countless times. Not to be pickey, but I know the real story. It is acatually French. The "M" is acatually a "elb" fused together, and the term means "expos le beisbol" on it. It is fused together to look like an "m". Thats the real story. I've heard all sorts of stories from it means "Jlo" to a former owner's daughter's initials!
Answer Actually, it's english, and it stands for Montreal Expos Baseball. the little e for Expos, the little b for Baseball, and as a whole, it's a stylized "M". There is no L in the equation.
BTW, if you still question my theory, I invite you to get any Expos media guide, it's written in there :)
