Answer
Bruce after 36 years, the supply of parts for your bike is pretty thin. Honda hasn't made any parts for them since the early 1990s, other than generic parts for the engine and gaskets, etc. www.westernhillshonda.com in Ohio is a Honda dealer, that specializes in vintage machine parts.

EBay is a primary source for a lot of rare parts. I found some leads doing GOOGLE searches.

The hardest parts to get will be exhaust and body parts, including the air cleaner items, which changed repeatedly through production years.

Other places to do research are www.vjmc.org to find like minded enthusiasts. Find copies of the parts books for that specific year model, plus a good shop manual. They may still be available at www.helminc.com

Good luck with your project...

Expertise

Need help with vintage Hondas from the 1960s? I am an expert with 250-305cc bikes in particular and most all of the other pre-91 models, in general. I do NOT claim to have a great deal of experience on Gold Wings, Cruisers, ATC/ATVs and dirt bikes.

Experience

I have owned/ridden/maintained Honda motorcycles for 35 years. I have written five books on Honda repairs and collecting. I was a service manager for two Honda shops back in the 1980s.
