Question
This bike suddenly quit on me, the tach jumped a couple of times, then it stalled and I couldn't get it started again.  A few days later I got it running but the bike wouldn't hold a consistent idle.  The bike wanted to stall at low speed and the idle would sometimes rev too high.  I thought my problems were in the carb; I've removed and cleaned the carb on this bike and installed a new pulse generator and all manifold gaskets. Now I don't get any spark at any of the plugs.  The electrical tests that I've done on the ignition coils are in spec. What else can I do?

Answer
sound to me like a bad rectifire firing then not firind n but definitelly electrical if you saw the tach jump look at all fuse and especially + positive and- negative connections on the battery for any loose wires,it could also be in the switch too.

                 good luck;
