Question
my reverse light has started blinking while i am riding.  the first time it started after i had been riding for a while hard.  now whenever i start the bike the reverse light blinks and sometimes goes out but comes back on blinking.  what is the problem and how might i fix it?

Answer
Hi Chris,

I suspect the reverse switch's electrical connector is loose.

Check the wire and connection at the switch for a clean, tight connection. Repair accordingly. Should have an electrical connector with brown wire and a yellow wire.

If necessary, check the reverse switch for continuity.

If the problem persists, let me know.

Respectfully,
Mark Shively
