tach stopped working red engine light on and off just happened completely stock bike 30.000 miles thanks

Since you have a check engine light you need to know the codes to know what to repair. Hold the odometer button and turn the ignition on. Let off the button and count the numbe of slow flashes. It should have flashes for the first number, pause then flashers for the second number
