I had the same sypmtoms with my 1972 Honda CB 175 (K5). Whenever the blinkers quit winking, I just lifted the seat and tapped on the flasher unit & they would begin to work again. Still haven't replaced my flasher unit, I'll get it this winter. Hope that helps.

I have honda repair experience on all vintage Hondas from 1972 through 1980. I worked in a Honda dealership while going to college and have experience in all types of honda motorcyle repair. I don't have any experience on other brands.
