Question Hello, mr. Johnston. I want to buy a new pare of carbs for my 1981 Honda cx500 B (37 kw) and I don't know the mark and modell I have to look for. I also would like to know if is possible to replace them with carbs from another (after 1990) bike (with examples). Can you help me, please ? Regards, Adi.
Answer I can't say what years will interchange. The only way I know would be to set the two sets side by side and compare the features. If you were talking about a model that was closer to the year in question, I'd be more comfortable saying there's a good chance you could swap them out.
