Question
please tell me the steps in removing the rear fender on a 1997 sportster 1200. thank you.

Answer
First, jack the bike up. Remove the axle and shide the wheel foward and remove the belt. Then remove the wheel. Unplug the wires for the fender under the seat. Remove the bolts holding the fender on the struts and slide the fender out
