Question
How do you check the starter solenoid on a 2003 fatboy to see if it is good. Just clicks when I hit starter. Battery and fusses are good.

Answer
First you need to check to see if you have power going to the starter from the starer relay. Locate the small 12 volt wire going to the starter from the relay. With a test light check to see if you have power when you hit the starter switch. If not then the starter relay is bad. If you do have power going there, then check to make sure your positive and negitive wires are good at both ends. If it still doenst work then you will have to pull the starter and test it. There are several test to do on the starter. Your best bet is to get a service manual for the tests. Its would be tough to try to explain them on here and in the manual there will be pics to follow
Good luck and happy riding
