Subject: engine idle screw

Question
While conducting routine maintenance I accidentally "not paying attention"  "unscrewed" the engine idle screw on my 750 shadow AERO, I've looked and felt around and cannot find where it screws back into the carberator. I have the washer and spring, but cannot locate were to re-connect it, I've purchased an owners manual but it fails to show where the part screws into, just the end where you can adjust it idle speed.

Thanks
Karl

Answer
Karl,

look on the right middle side of the carb
very close to the seam where the
float bowl meets the carb body.
The screw goes in a hole here from the bottom
side pointing upward.

It should be close to where the
throttle cables hook up as it pushes on
the "wheel" the cables connect to.
The throttle screw pushes on
and turns the wheel to open or
close the throttle.
