Subject: rake on my 75 sporster

Question
i have a 33 degree on a 1975 hardtail sporster.it is 1.1/2 inches off the ground.what lengh fork tubes do i need to bring up to 5 inches.thankyou. pat

Answer
What you need to do is take a measurement from the axle to the front of the bike, inline with the forks. Then jack up the bike to the location you want the bottom end and take another measurement. Subtract the smaller number for the bigger number and that will give you the figure you need
Good luck and happy riding
Mike
