Question
QUESTION: bike set up for year, got runing  but has no exost pipes
right side gets realy hot quick

ANSWER: The CBX is a 1000cc bike, actually 1047cc.  The last year of manufacture is 1982.  So your bike is intrigueing.  I would not recommend starting the bike without exhaust pipes.  Are you restoring the bike?  Good luck,  Jan

QUESTION: thanks for that answer,I meant the bike did not have muffers, they had been cut off.It runs on only to cylinders, the carbs were cleaned,I don't know how to adjust them

Answer
The carb cleaning on a CBX is an art, the low running circuit is almost impossible to clean without taking the pressed in jets out.  If you did not remove those, then the bike will never run right.  Adjustment typically does not go bad enough to stop cylinders from firing.  So I'm afraid you have to pull the carbs again.  Good luck,  Jan
