Question
i just bought a cr 80 and when ever i ride it the plug will foul... (it will foul from 30 seconds to 3 hours) (litterally)
is there a problem with the jet engine settings or do i need a new cdi ignition??
First check that you are using the correct oil/gas mixture for your bike. Then I would verify the jets in the carbs have not been messed with; this can also cause plug fouling, then lastly you may need to check the piston rings and cylinder for scoring. Loss of compression can also cause plug fouling. I would not imagine the ignition will be the problem, it either works or doesn't; and it sounds like yours works. Good luck,
