Motorcycle Repair - battery replacement

Expert: Mike Wells - 6/30/2009

Question
What is the trick to getting the battery out of a 2004 883 sportster?

Answer
There is not trick, they are just a tight fit and a real pain. Remove the top cover and front cover. Now you have to remove the positive wire. You can then slide the battery out a little and get the negitive wire off.
Good luck and happy riding
Mike
