Motorcycle Repair/can not find fuel filter

Question
I have a honda vt750 ( I hope you can still help me)I have been having problems with the bike stalling and not being able to start it, figuring it is a dirty fuel filter i am trying to replace it.  So i went to the nearest dealer and only only bike dealer and bought a filter but can not find where it goes

Answer
The original fuel filter hon Honda's is inside of the gas tank, usually part of the fuel tep.  Check the flow coming out of the gas tank to see if your fuel supply is OK.  If not then change the filter or clean the filter; also check the inside of the gas tank, it should be spotless inside.

Good luck,  Jan
