Question
Can the motor be started without the seat on?

Answer
Hello Greg,

If it is all-stock, yes it can, as with all motorcycles normally.
There is one reason though for the opposite.
An anti-theft and/or alarm device that disables ignition when seat is removed.
If you're experiencing a problem, feel free to come back anytime.

Best Regards,
Lazaros.
