Motorcycle Repair/Oil change on a 1999 Buell X1

Question
Okay, so I recently got this Buell X1 1200 and I was going to ask if there is a specific procedure I should follow when changing/checking the oil. Also is the oil drain the hose coming out of the "T" fitting just in front of the left side of the rear tire? I pulled the plug out of it and got very little oil draining...

Answer
Start the bike and let it warm up befor changing the oil. The drain it. Pull your dipstick out and it will drain faster. Look under the bike for a hose that either has a metal plug in it or is plugged into the frame. Change the filter, put in fresh oil  adn fill to the mark on the dipstick witht he bike upright.
Good luck and happy riding
