Motorcycle Repair - Remove & Replace choke assembly

Expert: Mike Wells - 10/14/2006

Question
How do I remove & replace the choke assembly on a 95 Roadking? Does the carb need to be removed?
I need to know the carb side connection.
Thanks.
MikeH

Answer
Unscrew the nut on the back of the choke knob. remove the air filter and back plate and slide the carb off. You will see a plastic nut which holds the choke assemble to the carb. Unscrew it and install the new one. Put together in reverse order.
Good luck and happy riding
Mike
