Subject: Another sofa for you to move!

Question
I have a lovely 3 seater sofa, but have changed jobs and now live in a small flat.  I need to get the sofa in but am worried that it wont go when i travel with it all the way down here for manchester to gloucestershire!  OK so

The sofa measures 43 inches deep, 32 inches high and 81 inches in length.  My door measures 29 inches wide (with door off which i havent figured ou how to do yet) and 72 inches in height.  I haveto come up a few steps to the door which has a balcony prohibiting some movement, it is quite wide however the sofa would not be able to lay horizontally.

Please help!!

Thankyou bery much in advance...very much

Answer
Hello Debs,

I am not quite sure by what you describe as the balcony near or in front of the front door. However, if the sofa has a straight path of travel up to the door and then through to the other side, the sofa measurements should work. Once angled over and raised high on the first end through, the sofa should fit alright. If the legs are removable it would be a huge benefit.

I am assuming it is a standard style sofa where the back is higher than the arms.

Let me know if I can help you further,

Harry
