Question We have a sectional couch with recliners on both ends.We have been trying to get them apart to move to put carpeting in but are unable to do so. We were told by the movers who brought them that to take them apart you need to pull in the front while pushing on the back. They have a catch in the back and front on the sides. We cannot get them apart. Is there a secret to doing this. Please help.
I hope I will be able to help :)
Some recliners that have outside back on velcro or accessible have metal latches that go into the back frame on both sides - where mechanism atatches to back frame - it is like sockets insersted into and in the tip ends ther eis a hole with a pin lock that you can pull aside and pull back out from its sockets/mechanism.
