Question Hi Anjana, (I'm an old guy!) My PC running Vista is due for replacement soon. I've used IE for years, but it's begun playing-up. Would it make sense to download Firefox in the interim, as a second browser on my PC until replacement in a few months?
Answer Hello Dick,
I am quite surprised you used IE for a quite long time without any issue. Most of the time,(for me) IE tends to slow down the PC after some time. So I only use IE to download FF (FireFox) and Chrome.
I suggest you to download Chrome, instead of FF, because Chrome is very light weight and hardly give you any issue.
Since you are from Australia, I expect you use lots of services from Google, such as Google.com.au search, GMail, GTalk/Hangouts, Maps, etc. Since Chrome is also from Google, it perfectly matches and smoothn up your interaction with all Google services, than any other browser and also supports almost all other websites.
I am sure, you will see the difference when you start using Chrome for couple of days.
I can answer almost all questions in Mozilla Firefox. I'm well aware of searching & installing various types of plugins, themes which fits for your requirement. For instance SEO, web editing, game plugins. Also I know how to browse safely using Firefox.
I'm using Mozilla Firefox for nearly 7 years. I'm knowledgeable in both older & latest versions. I found that Mozilla Firefox is much more user friendly, faster, reliable & well equipped with the latest technology comparing to other browsers.
