I have Radio Shark , which allows me to tape my favorite radio programs, save them to my hard drive in wav format and then I either burn them to CD or create a MP3 and save them to CD so I can listen to them in the car or when I'm on business. I am looking for a rcommendation for a program that will allow me to cut out the commercials from these programs before I burn to CD. I just bought ( haven't opened) Nero 7 Ultra. But all the reviews on the internet says there are nothing but problems with this program. In addition I wasn't given a clear yes this program could do what I wantedit to do from the Store personal that I bought this from. Can you direct me , looking for something reasonably prices, easy to use to just edit out parts of the wav file I'm saving to my harddrive before converting or burning to cd.

There is no way to do this automatically, so you will have to edit the wav file yourself to cut out the adds. I don't know of any free progams (you could search on the net though) but there are plenty of Shareware programs for a small fee. Unfortunately, I can't give you any advice on how good they are as I don't use them. The program I use for most of my basic wav editing is called CoolEdit Pro. Adobe has recently bought this and renamed it to Adobe Audition. This will do what you want and a great deal more. However, it will cost you considerably more that the shareware versions and is probably a little overkill for what you need. Looked on Ner's website and couldn't find Nero 7 Ultra, but did find premium. As far as I could see from their information, this won't allow you to do what you want to do, as there is no editing s/w included (I haven't heard anything bad about it & I use Nero 6).
