Experience Goldwave is the best affordable sound editor I have seen. I have used it and Roxio for a few years. I am not the best at answering technical questions about all the terms relative to wave forms and so forth but I generally know where to get such answers.
Question I have Roxio easy CD DVD creator 6. I have been trying for 2 hours to find anything in my audio central that says Sound Editor. When I click on Audio Central, the window that comes up is the Audio Central player, and there are no icons on it. I have gone through every support page I can find, and followed directions, but nothing works.
In my Sound and Multimedia section, there is a
recording device listed. (SoundMaxDigital Audio)
Please help me. I am about ready to pull my hair out!

Answer The only thing I can think of is that the sound editor may have been left off the install. I would suggest an uninstall and reinstall from scratch.
If you select custom install, just be sure not to uncheck sound editor. If the reinstall does not solve the problem and you have a legal original copy of the Roxio product I suggest you contact the store where you bought it or Roxio.
