I'm trying to teach myself "Dawn" in the Pride & Prejudice Piano Score and I was wondering if anyone had the same problem as me with the arpeggios in this piece. I had particular problems with the arpeggios in measure 55, right after the fermata on the F.
If you would be so kind as to giving me the fingering, I would greatly appreciate it. It sounds so uneven and I am struggling so much with the fingering that I tried, so I thought I would try my luck on AllExperts.com!
Thank you so much for your help!
Cindy
Answer Hi Cindy,
Sorry, but I'm not familiar with the piece.
However, generally for arpeggios, a tip is to try to use less of the fourth and fifth finger. In particular, the fifth finger should only be used for the last note. This is because these 2 fingers are usually weaker.
For C major arpeggio (1 octave) for example, the fingering would be 1235321
