My father was a school music teacher, and I have written three volumes for teaching beginning string players, taking them from scratch to high school level. I have directed church choirs and am principal cellist in our local community orchestra. I really love to arrange music for the groups I perform in and sing and have music in my life every day. A day without music, is a mistake, like having a day without sunshine.

Question i have an interest in choral music and have a basic understanding of tonic sofa. i would like some help in composition of song which will be performed by a choir of about 20 people.

You want 'help' in composition, and you want to know "how do you go about it" (meaning? -'go about getting help?"" ) is that your question?
Well, if that is your question? I'll tell you that I got my 'help" from 1) my piano teacher (who taught me basics of form/analysis and 2) my college professors who taught the classes in form/analysis and music composition on my way to a music degree. Since then I have studied on my own even more since then. So if you want my opinion of where to go to get help, take some classes from a teacher who knows about music composition.
