Question
This is not really a query. I wonder if you would take some of your time to give me a detailed and with reference from the holy Quran and hadith, what is women's place compared to men in Islam, higher or power, more active or idle?

Answer
DEar Ishtiaq.

Its a very nice question. Allah says in the quran

[Quran 4:34] Men are the protectors and maintainers of women, because Allah has given the one more (strength) than the other, and because they support them from their means. Therefore the righteous women are devoutly obedient, and guard in (the husband's) absence what Allah would have them guard...

Both are accountable for their deeds. If a man does some sin and the women does the same sin, both will be equally punished.

Only in matters of sharing responsibilites, Islam has distributed it some to women and some to men based on their built and capacity.

hope it is clear to you.
