Question
QUESTION: Salam Aleikum
As regards your question.. The court where the marriage would take place is located in my hometown. But i'm somehow confused cos some scholars are of the opinion that a muslim shouldn't opt for court marriage instead he should tie the nuptial knot with his wife islamically as ordained by Allah and also in accordance with he sunnah of the Holy Prophet Muhammed (PBUH)

ANSWER: If the sholars can prove that court marriage is invalid - then only you can accept their opinion.
If they cannot or there is no confirm ruling - then you can go ahead.

QUESTION: Salam Aleikum..
I was hospitalized for almost a week due to the fact that I have appendicitis.. I was on drip throughout those days, couldn't eat or drink Infact the only thing I knew is that I'm still breathing. Since i missed up to 5 to 6 days solat, am I to repay the missed solat or I should wait till I fully regain my strength before paying back the solat. Thanks

Answer
Thank you for your question.
Im sorry but salaat has to be prayed on time..even its not allowed to miss it in battlefield. However because of unavoidable circumstances you were unable to offer them on time...and since now you are recovering ...try to offer them as much as possible including making up the missed ones. Please remember that you can offer salaat in sitting posture as well or any other posture if you are not able to stand or sit.

May Allah have mercy on us and bless you with speedy recovery.

I just want to ask if what your earnings are halaal or not. Many a times its the wealth we eat is responsible for the miseries in life.

[Quran Surah Isra 17:82] And We send down of the Quran that which is a cure and a mercy to the believers, and it increases the wrongdoers in nothing but loss.

Then one of our men went along with her though we did not think that he knew any such treatment. But he treated the chief by reciting something, and the sick man recovered whereupon he gave him thirty sheep and gave us milk to drink (as a reward). When he returned, we asked our friend, "Did you know how to treat with the recitation of something?" He said, "No, but I treated him only with the recitation of the Mother of the Book (i.e., Al-Fatiha)." We said, "Do not say anything (about it) till we reach or ask the Prophet so when we reached Medina, we mentioned that to the Prophet (in order to know whether the sheep which we had taken were lawful to take or not). The Prophet said, "How did he come to know that it (Al-Fatiha) could be used for treatment? Distribute your reward and assign for me one share thereof as well."
