Answer A no load mutual fund is a mutual fund that does not impose a sales charge (commission) when you buy or sell it. Since you are new to investing, a brief description of mutual funds may also be useful. I would visit www.vangaurd.com, enter the personal investors section and go to the planning and advice tab.
